Sacramento, CA, January 23, 2024 – Honduras Eye Surgical Allies (ESA) has officially launched as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the USA, marking a significant step in the provision of eye care services in Honduras.
Led by a team of committed ophthalmologists, surgeons, and volunteers, ESA aims to facilitate ophthalmology missions between the United States and Honduras, addressing the critical need for specialized eye care services in underserved communities.
The establishment of ESA represents a milestone in the effort to bridge the gap in eye care access in Honduras, where many individuals lack access to essential services. Through collaborative efforts and the support of generous donors, ESA endeavors to bring high-quality eye care directly to those in need, empowering individuals and communities to lead healthier lives.
“We are excited to announce the launch of Honduras Eye Surgical Allies and to begin our mission of providing vital eye care services to underserved populations in Honduras,” said Patricia Sierra, Founder of ESA. “With the support of our dedicated team and the generosity of our donors, we are confident in our ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.”
